S U C C E S S (Scheme for Universal Access and Quality Education at the Secondary Stage) comprehensive proposal for the Central project named 'envisaged to be implemented during the 11th five year plan. 2007-12 ) மேலும் 2008-09 க்கான ஆண்டுத் திட்டத்தையும் முடித்துவிட்டது. 5 கிலோமீட்டர் சுற்றளவுக்கு ஒரு மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளி இருக்க வேண்டும் என்ற திட்டத்துடன் தமிழ்நாடு செயல்திட்டம் தீட்டியுள்ளது. மிகவும் பாராட்டத்தக்க விசயம்.

அரசியல்,கட்சி,குடும்பம் தாண்டி மக்களுக்காக அதிகாரிகளும், அமைச்சர்களும் கொஞ்சமாவது சிந்தித்தால் நல்ல விசயங்கள் நடக்கும். திட்டங்கள் தொய்வில்லாமல் மக்களை அடைய எல்லாம் வல்ல அரசியல்வாதிகள் உதவ வேண்டும்.

Scheme for Universalization of Access to Secondary Education (SUCCESS) and improvement of quality at secondary stage during the Eleventh Five Year Plan. The main objective of the programme is to make secondary education of good quality available, accessible and affordable to all young students in the age group 15-16 years (classes IX and X).

The target of the scheme is (i) Universal access of Secondary level education to all students in the age group 15-16 years by 2015 and (ii) Universal retention by 2020. It envisages (i) provision of necessary infrastructure and resources in the secondary education sector to create higher capacity in secondary schools in the country and for improvement in quality of learning in the school; (ii) provision for filling the missing gaps in the existing secondary schools system (iii) provision of extra support for education of girls, rural children and students belonging to SC/ST, minority and other weaker sections of the society and (iv) a holistic convergent framework for implementation of various schemes in secondary education.
